Comal 864 is a hidden Mexican food watering hole in the San souci area. Their chips and dip are so addicting, and their quesadilla were perfect. Highly recommend checking this establishment out.
This place is close to my house so we eat here all the time. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. It’s the best!! Food is so good, staff is fantastic!! Everyone I bring here ends up loving it
Very cozy atmosphere, you can smell the deliciousness from down the street. The queso birria tacos were mouth watering. I rode my bicycle about five miles to pull up on Cinco de Mayo and really enjoyed the entire experience.
We went for an early lunch on a Friday morning. Just missed the breakfast burritos apparently, but all good. The chips and queso were fantastic, as well as the birria tacos. Don't miss the horchata either!
This place is fantastic! The food is delicious and authentic with a unique twist. The vibe is great, and it’s on par with the Asheville food scene in our local Greenville area, which is much needed. I highly recommend it!
The venue is disarmingly simple and casual. Chilaquiles were excellent. The chorizo burger was a nice spin on the American standard. The breakfast tacos were substantial and tasty. Oh, and the staff was delightfully friendly.
Great little restaurant with a friendly staff that's very friendly and helpful! There were a few items I wasn't sure what they were, and they explained everything. For starters, we had the Mexican street corn, Elote on the menu. They take the corn off the Cobb and put everything in a bowl. I really liked the way that was prepared. And a bowl of guacamole and chips, also tasty. My daughter had the Quesitacos (that was an item I had no idea what it was, lol) with birria. That was interesting as the taco shell is fried and crispy. I had the Burrito with Al pastor. For one, it's huge! Like, two people can definitely share this dish. Second, so cheesey! I'd definitely get either of these items again. I'd just try different proteins, just because I'd want to! Oh yeah.... the Jarritos drinks... I've seen them but haven't tried one till our visit. I got the grapefruit because it was recommended. I was surprised how good that was, not what I was expecting. Not bitter or too sweet, but enjoyable to me.
Awesome hole in the wall Mexican place close to downtown! Ashleigh and Caroline joined me to try this place end of October. We sat outside. I had the birria cheese beef tacos and the elote which were both delicious. They brought the food out to us and served us outside. Will come back again! I love mayo!
